In the case of larger banks, the main motivation for introducing payment innovations was characteristic of an offensive strategy, and for smaller banks - more often a defensive one. The results of the study indicated that there was a significant differentiation of applied strategies depending on a bank's size. It also revealed the methods for competing in the area of payment services utilized by the banks, with innovative services as one of the leading elements. The study helped to determine the main elements of the strategies implemented by banks in Poland. The analysis that we conducted was based on the results of a survey which obtained responses from 24 commercial banks representing almost the entire Polish retail banking sector based on the number of personal accounts maintained. We propose a definition of payment innovations and present the evolution of their introduction in the Polish market, indicating the impact of legal regulations and the critical character of the new FinTech phenomenon. Note: following other comments, I excluded Early Access publications, but the issue stills. I've got this issue with other data, so it would be very helpful to know how to identify problematic publications. I identified the problematic publication by trial and error. I found that excluding one of the publications (I pasted the register in this comment), the issue was solved. I get this message: "An unexpected error has occurred (). I have and issue when importing data from Web of Science. I'm getting started with it and I find it very useful. So, do you have any advice on how I could fix or get around the problem? So I tried manually finding the line that was causing trouble to see if I could enter the year or find the title of the paper to exclude it from the WoS list and turns out my document has only 4324 lines. I tried re downloading the documents as plain texts and got a different message "Error while reading Web of Science file 'c:' (line 11469): Publication without year (PY) field". Turns out, some of my "savedrecs.txt" does work by themselves or in combination with some others, but some do not (at all). But I got a pop up box showing the "An unexpected error has occured (). It resulted in 71 of these documents that I tried adding to the CitNetExplorer application to work with them. I am working with a set of 35 thousand + papers that I have downloaded the "savedrecs.txt" for from WoS (using the separated by tab (win)). I recently started trying to work with CitNetExplorer as it has some features that VosViewer does not.
